The Case for Disappearing Clutter

Inspired by a growing pile of mail on my kitchen counter, I transformed a briefcase into a decorative mail organizer.

I hand-painted the exterior with plants and a watering-can to transform its appearance. Inside, the original pockets hold stamps, office supplies and tools. Close the case, and the unwanted clutter hides inside while a little beauty is added to an everyday conundrum.
