Learn the timeless craft of making greeting cards in a hands-on, personalized workshop designed to inspire and empower you.

In this 4-hour, private session, you'll create professional looking greeting cards out of upcycled materials. No two cards will be alike, though they may carry a similar theme.  No special skills are required, just your common sense and imagination.  It is meant to be a fun event that teaches you how to create meaningful, functional works of art, via greeting cards. 

Workshop Overview

What you’ll learn:
This workshop teaches you how to make greeting cards using upcycled scraps of materials to create professional looking greeting cards. Your greeting cards can carry a message, such as "Happy Birthday" or be left blank to be filled with personalized messages. You’ll also learn:

• How to select standard size paper for your greeting cards so that they fit into standard envelopes
• The differences in paper weights 
• Select and assemble reclaimed materials
• What types of adhesives work best
• How to add personal touches and embellishments
• How to adapt these methods to other future projects

By the end of your session, you’ll take home:

1. As many greeting cards with corresponding envelopes as you can create. Usually, at least 10 greeting cards.
2. The knowledge to make greeting cards on your own
3. A new appreciation for your creative potential
