Introducing:
The Four Corners Wanderer Tote Bag
A Southwest-Inspired Work of
Functional Art
Meet the Four Corners Wanderer—a handmade tote bag designed as a tribute to the bold beauty and geometry of the American Southwest. This one-of-a-kind piece of functional art is crafted from upcycled upholstery fabric samples with a richly textured weave and a striking square motif that echoes the four states meeting at the iconic Four Corners region: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah.
The name Four Corners Wanderer speaks to more than geography—it reflects the spirit of movement, culture, and craft. The pattern on this tote bag is a visual journey: its strong lines, earthy browns, deep reds, and soft white tones evoke desert landscapes, red rock canyons, and ancestral designs passed down through time.
Thoughtfully Designed with Purpose and Passion
Unlike my other tote bags, which often feature exterior pockets for quick-grab convenience, the Four Corners Wanderer has no exterior pockets—intentionally. The visual impact of the fabric’s woven pattern demanded uninterrupted attention, and I honored that. This decision preserves the integrity of the graphic design, allowing the motif to take center stage without distraction.
But don’t worry—organization is still built in. Inside, you’ll find four lined interior pockets, perfectly sized for keys, phones, glasses, and other essentials. The bag closes with a magnetic snap, stands on its own and folds completely flat when not in use, making it ideal for travel, storage, or spontaneous adventures.
Like all my creations, it was made with care, intention, and over 16 love hours of dedicated attention. It’s a reflection of my process, my values, and the belief that everyday objects can carry both beauty and meaning.
